Developed from the nationally recognized "Private Eye" materials, CATALyST's Eye Spy workshop takes participants on a trip through space and time as they explore creative ways to use inquiry in the classroom.
Following the "Private Eye" call to develop an interdisciplinary mind through hands-on thinking skills, creativity, and scientific literacy, Eye Spy provides a wide variety of learning experiences rich in reform based and brain based strategies, as well as science process skills.
Whether developing a strong learning community through Famous Fictional Sleuths, freely exploring a diverse buffet of items and samples using various tools, engaging in guided inquiry and investigation, or utilizing cutting edge technology and internet based resources; participants enjoy active science and math connections while developing concepts related to both.
